We welcome you to K&R's Prestige Quality LLC of Grand Rapids, MI, 49508, USA (hereinafter “K&R's Prestige Quality”, “KRPQuality”, “we”, “us” or “our”). The following documents apply to our Terms & Conditions Of Services.

These Terms and Conditions represent a contract between K&R’s Prestige Quality and The Client. By requesting K&R’s Prestige Quality to provide service by any means: telephone, email, fax, online package purchase, booking form, and or direct conversation – the client accepts that these terms and conditions are binding as an agreement.

PAYMENT/REFUND
In some cases, a minimum deposit surcharge of $50 or 15% is due at the time of bookings except for the “free estimate” and/or quotes. This deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE (unless service is canceled no later than 24 hours before scheduled service). A credit card is required to be on file and FULL PAYMENT WILL BE CHARGED AFTER THE TIME OF SERVICE(S). We reserve the right to suspend any/all cleaning services if a bill is unpaid after services have been completed or if a client missed their recurring cycle plan. Any outstanding bills will be charged 2% per month for any services unpaid. Any returned checks will have a $25 minimum fee assessed. If the charge to the credit card on file fails, we will attempt to remedy the situation via phone call, text, or email. Please inquire about Net 30, Net 15, or weekly payment schedules.
CANCELLATION
The client will be responsible for a 50% fee of the scheduled cleaning service cost if cancellation happens any time after 24 hours before services are scheduled.

Time estimates given by K&R’s Prestige Quality for work as requested, are only an estimate of the size of the area and the actual level of dirtiness as well as conditions encountered have a direct effect on the time needed. We are dedicated to giving your home or office a deep clean every time. That said, we may take longer or complete your deep clean sooner than originally agreed.

We will NOT work with or around contractors or other service providers. This can require up to 3 times more time to complete the same work and K&R’s Prestige Quality reserves the right to amend any cost estimates and or quotes and charge accordingly.
We will always strive to be on time, but if due to unforeseen circumstances we will notify each customer. Arrival times are only estimated, as traffic congestion and weather conditions may affect arrival time.

The client agrees to work with a cleaner on what tasks are agreed on within the contract as per their requirements or provide a list of requirements/ tasks (in order of priority). Things such as a ladder and other required equipment that will be needed to perform the required work. Unless otherwise requested and agreed to by K&R’s Prestige Quality, the company shall provide all cleaning equipment in safe and good working order. However, all detergents are requested to be provided by the customer, if K&R’s Prestige Quality must provide any detergent there will be an upcharge. No responsibility is undertaken for using the same. K&R’s Prestige Quality charges for detergents that are not provided during specific cleanings.

We request that all clients are either present or give us the proper access (access code to an entry door, gate codes, key, garage door openers, etc) to enter the home. We will wait up to 20 minutes after contact (via phone call, email, or text messaging) for a client to respond or arrive. We request that there be no other workers or contractors within the requested areas of the service than us. If so we will wait for their departure for up to 20 minutes. If not removed or departed the client will be charged 50% of the service fees.

The client has the responsibility to deactivate any alarms. No responsibility for the triggering of an alarm system or costs related to a response will be accepted by K&R’s Prestige Quality
K&R’s Prestige Quality reserves the right to suspend or cancel a cleaning service, if there are problems with the access, water, or electricity supplies, problems working around other contractors and or service providers, or interference from any party. The client will still be held liable for 50% of the cost of the agreed service.

K&R’s Prestige Quality reserves the right not to be liable for any action or service if service is postponed due to broken equipment, resulting from any circumstances beyond our direct control, or if there are issues in terms of safety.

K&R’s Prestige Quality reserves the right not to be responsible for accidental damage or loss of any nature. We hold insurance for damage for provable claims.
​
K&R’s Prestige Quality has insurance to cover any accidental damages caused by a KRPQuality member of staff at a point of service, subject to the damages being reported within 12 hours of completion of the service in writing (per email or fax) to K&R’s Prestige Quality. No consequential damage will be covered.
​
Insurance will not cover anything that may breakdown or stop working at any time and this would include but is not restricted to the vacuum, computer, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, tumble dryer, stove, oven, washing machine, and or instability of any item which the client is already aware of, such as headboards, bathroom fixtures, picture frames, or other property fittings. The client is obliged to notify K&R’s Prestige Quality management of fittings that are poorly secured, not secured, or appliances that are not in proper working order. No liability will be accepted by K&R’s Prestige Quality for any of the above damage caused directly or indirectly.

Unless otherwise agreed to by K&R’s Prestige Quality, the client or a representative has the responsibility to be present both at the start and end of each service and to inspect any cleaning performed prior to K&R’s Prestige Quality leaving the premises. This will enable us to rectify any work not done or not done correctly, while still on the premises. If the client or representative is not able to be present at either time then the client or representative must contact us no later than 12 hours after service has been started.

K&R’s Prestige Quality will never share any confidential company information or documents. We will never share any client and or customer information under any circumstances.
We take before and after photos of our work. These pictures are used for training, proof of performance as well as promotion. See our website before and after for examples. If you do not want pictures taken of work areas in your home please notify us when you schedule your cleaning.

Unless a specific contract is in place all regular ongoing services be it, daily, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly require a full 7-day notice to terminate the service, during the first 3 months of service, thereafter a full calendar month notice will apply. No cancellations and or postponements may be made once notice has been given to K&R’s Prestige Quality. ​The notice must be made in writing by email or fax. A telephone call will not be accepted as notice. Failure by the client to provide the stipulated notice, the client accepts liability for all fees, costs, and interest, due over the notice period, plus interest compounded at 2% per month including all costs on a lawyer-to-client basis until the date of full settlement.
We strive to select cleaning products that are safe for the environment, your home, and your family as much as possible. The client releases the company, its owner, and all employees from liability for property damage from products used in cleaning your home whether recommended by us or the client.

In order to provide you with a 100% Client Satisfaction Guarantee, we require homes of a certain capacity to be shown via in-person walkthrough or video call before the start of any General Cleaning Service by K&R’s Prestige Quality. If the client declines the showing the client declines the 100% Client Satisfaction Guarantee.

If there is any mold/asbestos upon our cleaning services. We will notify the customer of the problem area(s). For the safety of K&R’s Prestige Quality staff and their families, we will not allow them to clean that part of the home if it is excessive. Due to the hazardous health causes, we will promptly remove any K&R’s Prestige Quality staffing from that room or area of the home if the mold or asbestos is too much or is an excessive amount.

Some areas of the home will come cleaner than other areas depending on the condition and build-up and may not be completely clean on the first visit. Therefore, the results cannot be guaranteed.
The client is responsible for securing cash, jewelry, and other small items of value. K&R’s Prestige Quality pays staff well and has a zero-tolerance policy in terms of theft and dishonesty. No responsibility or liability is accepted by K&R’s Prestige Quality if any of the above actions have taken place. If a client suspects theft or actual theft has taken place, it is the client’s responsibility to report the incident to both K&R’s Prestige Quality management and the local police. The client will lay a charge of theft if actual theft has taken place and follow through to the point of actual prosecution. K&R’s Prestige Quality will not be responsible for any loss due to theft but will assist clients and law enforcement as needed.

In the event that a Cleaning Technician steals from you, or breaks the law in another way, K&R’s Prestige Quality, is not responsible for the actions of that employee but will take appropriate measures against them. If you wish to sue for damages, you can sue the employee personally for their actions, but not the Company. We will do everything in our power to assist the local authorities and the client.

Solicitation of a K&R’s Prestige Quality employee for private hire will result in permanent termination of services and forfeiture of any unused gift cards and/or certificates as well as the $3000 fee.
​
We take a lot of pride in our employees and have poured an enormous amount of time, energy, and expense into our screening, hiring, and training process. Acknowledging this agreement helps safeguard our success when providing the highest quality staff to our deserving clients. Unfortunately, some people have/will try and poach our employees. It is for this reason that our clients and employees read and sign this agreement. If breached, a fee of $3000 (for damages) will be assessed. This helps to minimize any type of unfair solicitation which undermines the good experience all our clients have come to expect. Please help us maintain our extraordinary success by not soliciting our employees for hire directly.

In Summary When Booking Our Services:

You understand that K&R’s Prestige Quality employees are not allowed to engage in a working relationship with me for one full year after employment termination.

You understand that I will be charged a $3000 finder’s fee if I hire a Cleaning Technician employed by K&R’s Prestige Quality on an individual basis for private work.

You Understand Solicitation of a K&R’s Prestige Quality employee for private hire will result in permanent termination of services and forfeiture of any unused gift cards and/or certificates as well as the $3,000 fee.

The client has the responsibility to deactivate any alarms. No responsibility for the triggering of an alarm system or costs related to a response will be accepted by K&R’s Prestige Quality

You understand you may be billed a partial fee for failing to provide access to the home upon arrival if we are unable to get in to clean or are turned away at the door.

You understand payment is due at the time of service, and my credit card number may be securely retained as a backup payment for undisputed delinquent balances.

You understand that no refund claims will be given once the cleaning service has been carried out. If for any reason the Client is dissatisfied with any aspect they must notify the Company within 12 hours and this will be rectified. Refund will be issued only if the Client has canceled a cleaning visit within the allowed time (24 hours) prior to the start of the cleaning session and a payment has been already received by K&R’s Prestige Quality. A refund will be issued if a Cleaner does not attend a cleaning visit, payment for which has been already received by the Company.

You Understand In the event that a Cleaning Technician steals, or breaks the law in another way, K&R’s Prestige Quality, is not responsible for the actions of that employee but will take appropriate measures against them. If you wish to sue for damages, you can sue the employee personally for their actions, but not the Company.

NOTE: All quotes and estimates are valid for 90 days from the issue date.
